Scan the QR Code

Once you've found a station, scan the QR code displayed on the touch screen using your smartphone camera.

  • No app download required
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
  • Most payment cards accepted directly at the station
  • Or sign up/login through our app to track rental time

After scanning and payment authorization, a slot will automatically open. Take your power bank and you're good to go!

Return to Any Station

When you're done, return the power bank to any Power Up Mate station - not just the one you rented from.

  • Scan the QR code at the return station
  • Insert the power bank into any available slot
  • Receive confirmation and payment receipt

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a power bank?

Our pricing is simple: $3.50 per hour (inclusive of GST), with a maximum daily charge of $15.00.

A $35.00 deposit is temporarily held when you rent a power bank, and the actual usage cost is deducted when you return it.

What payment methods are accepted?

Most payment cards are accepted directly at our powerbank stations.

You can also sign up or login through our app to track rental time and manage your account.

How long can I keep the power bank?

You can keep the power bank for up to 48 hours.

If not returned within this period, the full $35.00 deposit will be charged, and the power bank becomes yours to keep.

Do I need to download an app?

No app download is required. Simply scan the QR code on the station with your smartphone camera and follow the on-screen instructions.

However, our optional app allows you to track rental time and manage your account.

What devices can I charge with the power bank?

Our power banks come with built-in lightning and type-C cables, making them compatible with most modern smartphones and devices.

This includes iPhones, Android phones, tablets, wireless earbuds, and more.

Can I return the power bank to a different location?

Yes! You can return the power bank to any Power Up Mate station, not just the one you rented from.

This makes it convenient to charge on the go and return wherever is most convenient for you.
